Beginning July 1, 2024, Little Purples Academy will accept applications from BGISD employees for infant and toddler childcare, opening January 2025.

Little Purples Academy is designed in partnership with Bowling Green / Warren County Community Education to provide childcare for a total of 66 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Bowling Green Independent Schools will soon participate in the Louisville-based Dataseam economic and workforce development initiative. With participation, BGISD will have access to industry-standard technical training, as well as two new school-based labs.

For the fifth consecutive year, Bowling Green Independent Schools has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.

Bowling Green students from six schools have advanced to the State STLP finals to be held at Rupp Arena on March 27, 2024. Projects and Creative Digital Arts are among thousands of student submissions judged this year.

The Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 School Calendar on January 8, 2024. The first day of school for K-12 students will be August 13, 2024. The first day for preschool will be August 19, 2024.
