The Bowling Green Learning Center is home of the Compass Academy and Teranga Academy, as well as BGISD Student Support Services.

The mural was made by Teranga Junior High students in Erika Walker’s art class using over 1,200 bottle caps. The tree represents Teranga: strong, resilient, beautiful, and unique.
